FSBO’s: Selling My Own Home! Some owners can sell their own homes without a Real Estate agent but there are very good reasons why it can be difficult. Buyer’s cannot see “for sale by owner” or Fsbo’s properties in the multiple listing service (MLS), agents do not know the homes are available, Fsbo’s have very limited access to post online to potential Buyer’s, and Buyer’s will feel intimidated with the owners present. Fsbo’s may run into legal trouble during the Real Estate transaction, and that’s why in the long run it is better to have a licensed Realtor® on both sides of the transaction.

Are Foreclosures or Short Sales a Great Deal ?

There are foreclosed homes on the market today, whether HUD foreclosures,VA properties, REO – Bank Owned Properties,or Lender Owned. and short sales through many transactions and personal investment. These transactions can be very complex and stressful if you do not have the right person on your side. Short Sales can be a great buy. Most of these properties are bought for less based on the condition of the home and other resources. Consult with an experienced Full-Time REALTOR®.
